MAHABLESWAR

                                            

 Mahabaleshwar is a taluka town in the Giristhan Municipality of Satara district . It is situated on a high hill in the Western Ghats of the Sahyadri Mountains. It is one of the few places in India that is adorned with greenery. It was the summer capital of the Bombay Pargana during the British Raj, and its area is 137.51 km.

         It is best to visit Mahabaleshwar between the months of November to June, although the weather is pleasant throughout the year.
